ENDECE enters into an agreement with the University of Tennessee Research Foundation (UTRF) to exclusively in-license proprietary compounds that show promise in multiple areas, including cancer.  ENDECE is collaborating with UTRF to move these compounds from discovery into pre-clinical trials.

December 2007
Based upon ongoing studies with ENDECE compounds, research is underway to confirm and extend opportunities for use of NDC drugs to treat conditions beyond cancer, including health problems related to learning and memory.

The company’s research holds promise for cost-effective development of a new anti-cancer drug(s.) As anticipated, ENDECE has pursued and secured an additional round of angel funding. These funds enable ENDECE researchers to continue pre-clinical studies and initiate Phase I Clinical Trials.

ENDECE is pleased to sponsor two undergraduate students for summer studies at the University of Pittsburgh. These students are studying under Dr. Merrill Egorin, MD, ENDECE Scientific Advisory Board member at the Hillman Cancer Center.

ENDECE engages Parexel International to assist with developing a Strategic Drug Development Plan. Parexel’s clinical research and development experts will help ENDECE create a strategic plan to accelerate time-to-market, while also helping control development costs, reduce risk, and maximize return on investment. Parexel International has played a key role in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries for the past two decades.

ENDECE names Dr. Merrill Egorin, MD, as a scientific consultant, advising on mechanism of action and pharmacology.

ENDECE names prominent oncologists — Dr. Daniel Von Hoff and Dr. Victor Vogelto its newly formed Scientific Advisory Board.
